Eligibility Criteria for BAMS Admission

1. NEET UG Qualification

Candidates must qualify the NEET UG Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET qualification is mandatory for admission into BAMS courses in India.

2. Educational Qualification

Students should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology/Biotechnology
  • English

from a recognized educational board.

3. Minimum Qualifying Marks in Class 12th

Students should secure minimum marks in PCB subjects:

  • General Category: Minimum 50%
  • SC/ST/OBC Category: Minimum 40%
  • PwbD Category: Minimum 45%

4. NEET Qualifying Percentile

Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying percentile:

  • General / EWS: 50th Percentile
  • SC / ST / OBC: 40th Percentile
  • General-PwD: 45th Percentile

5. Age Criteria

Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December of the admission year.
